Plug-in Overview

This plug-in scans the environment for available wireless beacons, such as nearby WIFI devices; providing information including identifiers and signal strength (if possible). The plug-in also provides automatic power management; adjusting the scan rate based on the user’s selected Dynamix power profile. Note that this plug-in only supports WIFI beacons at the moment, but will be extended to support Bluetooth beacons shortly.

Your app will automatically receive an event whenever wireless beacons are detected. See the JavaDocs below for details on the available context event data. Context events can be handled like this in your Web app’s dynamix_listener.js file:
